Oh, Baby!

This week we welcomed a brand new member into our family. His name is Jace Matthew and weighing in at 7lbs. 6oz. he's a knockout! So adorable and sweet and the inspiration for this post. I'm going to be giving you a roundup of baby tutorials today since it seems like everyone is either preggo or just post preggo. But first, here's a snapshot of the happy little family.

I love how everyone bands together in times like these and the love is just overflowing for the new additions. Handmade gifts are a-plenty and here is a really simple tutorial from The Purl Bee for some adorable little felt booties.

If you are like me and desperately crave a sewing machine, but haven't taken the plunge, try this no-sew ruffled binky clip from Six Sisters' Stuff. I love these creative sisters and their blog and this super easy tutorial!

Are you looking for the perfect gift to bring with you for the first baby meeting? How about a subway art birth announcement? All the accessories the mommy receives at the shower and so on, you may want to bring a keepsake that won't be outgrown in a few weeks. Here's a great tutorial from A Kitchen Table for Two.

I will leave with you with this last tutorial/free printable link from Attempting Aloha. I love the idea of marking each month of your baby's first year with photos. This blog offers both boy and girl version printables and super easy directions (it really couldn't be easier.)

Again, I want to congratulate Lauren and Joe on their new addition. He's such a sweetie!

Do you have any baby-friendly tutorials you'd like to share? We'd love to see them!
